DIRECTOR / CREATIVE PRODUCER

Arthur Chan is a Kiwi based in Sydney, Australia. He got his start behind the camera shooting documentary styled content, before doing a stint of VFX at Weta Digital. He realised his true calling was in storytelling and embarked on his journey in directing.

A versatile creative, Arthur doesn’t consider himself bound to genre. Instead his approach to storytelling is always informed by his love of unique and interesting imagery, which accompanies honest - and some times quirky - emotive human experiences. 

Being the child of immigrants, Arthur is also passionate about telling diverse stories, and is committed to fostering diverse collaborators with the goal of furthering more cultural representation on screen.  

As a commercial director, Arthur has directed commercial content for clients including Sony, YSL, Adobe, Qantas, DiDi, Domain, Google and Nimble. When not behind the camera, he can be seen hanging with his corgi George on bush walks.
